The Candidate is responsible for contributing remarkably to the complete process of software development. You must train the new recruits and other team members. This position is responsible for working as a cross functional team member to support any engineering needs for new and existing products, along with fixture design and development to support various products from inception through manufacturing test and delivery.

• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• Proficiency in a 3D modeling software package (Solid Works preferred).
• Proficiency in MATLAB.
• Ability to develop software code to replicate Mechanics.
• Strong interest in the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently and as a team member.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis preferred.

• Be able to interpret customer system level requirements to develop specific product requirements in which a functional product design can be developed.
• Support test programs during product development, qualification, and final production,
• Support Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing under the direction of the Chief Engineer.
• Work as a team member to check detail drawings, review designs and support design development to satisfy customer requirements and the needs of the engineering department.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement with a strong desire to eliminate waste and non-value-added processes using Lean principles.

As a visual designer, you will consult with the project team to determine design requirements, submit draft concepts for approval, and develop similar design prototypes for our other branded products. To be successful as a visual designer, you should exhibit experience in visual design and the ability to contribute creative expertise to brainstorming sessions. Outstanding visual designers are team players who apply their creativity to varied design requirements.

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in graphic design, visual arts, or similar.
• 2-3 years of experience as a visual designer, or similar.
• A complete portfolio of visual design examples.
• Advanced proficiency in visual design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite's InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML and JavaScript would be advantageous.
• Exceptional creative abilities as reflected in original visual designs.
• Extensive experience in determining visual design preferences and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
